We produce exclusively bespoke experiences -- imagine travel “haute couture.” Examples of service range from procuring a Villa in Courchevel, a sun-soaked week on the Amalfi Coast, to an African Safari, we work tirelessly to ensure that our clients do not feel bound by the typical constraints of travel.

About the Role

Luminary seeks a dynamic, charismatic, and organized leader to support the CEO and our growing team as we offer clients exemplary travel services. They will also empathetically and develop and manage a team of versatile role players.


The ideal candidate observes the golden rule, yet evidences leader drive and tenacity and possesses experience juggling competing priorities. Our optimum candidate believes in a process-driven approach to problem solving, brings energy and desire to innovate every aspect of our company. Fluency with technology and the flexibility to learn new tools will prove critical to success and create an ideal experience for the candidate. A background in travel adds an advantage if the candidate can bring a host luxury travel vendor connections into the role. A background in client management and team building will ultimately act as the deciding factor in the selection process. This role would report directly to the CEO and will manage the Luminary Client Services team globally (both literally and figuratively).

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the client services team
  • Develop metrics to ensure we collectively meet client expectations 
  • Improve organizational project management and our already well-developed trip building processes
  • Help the team optimize client load and time spent to maximize productivity and profitability
  • Liaise with vendors to expand client offerings and employee professional opportunities
  • Hire and retain new employees on the client services and operations teams
  • Work with the CEO to chart company strategy and growth trajectories

 

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Professional tech-savvy
  • An ability to serve as an autonomous self-starter
  • Excellent and concise communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with client and vendor management
  • A proven track record of team member advocacy, client service acumen and the ability view a business at both a granular and ten-thousand foot level
